Dream Interpretation

Picture
Do you have a fascination with your dreams? Maybe you don’t recall your dreams. Do you interpret your dreams personally or utilise a dream dictionary?

Dreams are interesting as they provide an insight into our sub conscious; they are a series of one’s thoughts, images and sensations that occur in a person’s mind during sleep.

During my childhood I used to experience the same dream over and over again. I was on a swing in my backyard tied to the orange tree swinging back and forth. I had no idea what this dream represented at the time but as I matured I wanted to know more and delved into dream interpretation.

Although, as I delved deeper into dream analysis I realised there were a number of different interpretations for the same dream, see below:

Are you out of the closet?

This is a question raised between many spiritualists.  We ask one and another are you out of the closet?  Are you happy to tell the world of your beliefs?  In many cases the answer received is “no.”  Many friends and colleagues in the industry are proud of their beliefs but still not fully “out of the closet.”  They aren’t ready to tell friends, family and colleagues of their connection to the spiritual world.  They may work in part time businesses within the industry and their loved ones are not aware which is unfortunate, as it’s nothing to be embarrassed about.

When people found out about my connection to spiritualism I was surprised how intrigued they were and craved more information.  I’m not one to promote and brag that I’m involved in this fascinating industry nor am I ashamed of it; on the other hand I’m very proud and have such a passion to learn.  If a friend or colleague approaches me I’m open and don’t hold back.  I can quickly judge from their body language and energy if they are closed off or want to know more.

Unfortunately there are a small percentage of people who will enjoy putting you down and spread rumours about your psychic abilities.  You cannot help the way people think and you should not let them affect you as this is what they crave.  Simply brush it off and move on with your day!  You are too positive to let negative people get you down.

I was having a conversation last night about spiritualism and religion.  One point made was that spiritualism is prevalent in nearly every religion and this seems to be the one common ground.  It’s fantastic that we
all have different faiths.  If we all had the same beliefs what a boring world it would be!

The question posed… are you out of the closet?

The New Year's Resolution - Optimist versus Pessimist

Isn’t the New Year a great time to start fresh and initiate that New Year’s Resolution (NYR) you have been talking about for months or even years?  It may be to get fit, stop smoking, start a yoga class or improve on a personal characteristic such as patience or tolerance.  Whatever it may be why not actually take control and make your NYR a reality in 2013?

It’s simple if you really want to start something fresh or change a habit you will.  By having full intent and asking the universe it will happen.  Positive thinking is the key.

Is your glass half-empty or half-full?  How you answer this age-old question about positive thinking may reflect your outlook on life, your attitude toward yourself, and whether you're optimistic or pessimistic.  If you tend to be pessimistic, don't despair - you can learn positive thinking skills.

Positive thinking doesn’t mean you keep your head in the sand when faced with an unpleasant situation, it just means you approach the unpleasant situation in a more positive way.  You think the best is going to happen,
not the worst.

Self-talk is unspoken thoughts that run through your head every day. These automatic thoughts can be positive or negative. Some of your self-talk comes from logic and reason. Positive thinking often starts with self-talk.

If the thoughts that run through your head are mostly negative, your outlook on life is more likely pessimistic.  If your thoughts are mostly positive, you're likely an optimist — someone who practices positive thinking.

Researchers continue to explore the effects of positive thinking and optimism on health. Health benefits that positive thinking may provide include:
o  Increased life span
o  Lower rates of depression
o  Lower levels of distress
o  Greater resistance to the common cold
o  Better psychological and physical well-being
o  Reduced risk of death from cardiovascular disease
o  Better coping skills during hardships and times of stress

Why do people who engage in positive thinking experience health benefits?  Is it because having a positive outlook enables you to cope better with stressful situations?  Or is it just simply The Law  of Attraction?  "The Law of Attraction is the name given to the belief that "like attracts like" and that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts, one can bring about positive or negative results. There is no scientific basis to the law of attraction.”*

If you are not a positive thinker, why not try it in 2013 and let me know if it’s improved your life.  I would love
to hear your feedback.

The time for celebrations...

December & January are the months of the year for celebrations with Christmas, New Year’s Eve and Australia Day.  It’s a time to spend with family, friends & loved ones celebrating the festive season with plenty of food, drink and dancing! There are many groups of people to spend time with including family members, past school friends, new friends and the list goes on and on.  You really need to prioritise your time and be organised.

What  cannot be forgotten is time for the three R’s (rest, relax & recharge).  We are all frantic leading up to Christmas that sometimes our own needs are pushed to the side.  It’s important to block out a day or at least an hour every week to spend time with yourself.  Connecting with earth is imperative consider taking a walk outdoors - along the beach, in a park or wherever you feel relaxed and at peace.  Alternatively, pamper yourself with a massage, facial or manicure or simply attend a yoga, pilates or gym class you have been wanting to do for some time.

Before starting the New Year back at work it’s great to have 2 – 7 days off to recharge your batteries.  If you go back to work well rested, relaxed & recharged you will see things differently and have the motivation to make change and start that new project.

Enjoy time with family and friends and remember to have “you” time this festive season.  Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a wonderful 2013!

Since I was a child a connection was felt with a higher power and I had a fascination by the spiritual world and after life.

It was a colleague of mine that introduced me to a psychic retreat, immediately I was drawn to the psychic circles.

I felt comfortable and protected.  I was introduced quickly to psychometry, mediumship and tarot.  I surprised myself, friends & family with strong psychic mediumship skills.

I had received readings in the past that advised I would begin connecting with the spiritual world via readings for friends, but it would take over and one day I would run my own business.  I just chuckled to myself at the time and didn’t realise this would be my reality.  This is why I’m here today offering my mediumship & psychic services to people such as yourself.

    The reason for opening
this business was simple, I want to utilise my personal skills to assist people such as yourself with healing and self discovery. This is achieved by helping you gain clarity in order to life your life on purpose with passion & abundance.
